We are a third generation, family run business based in Carmarthenshire. Originating in 1971, our business began as a reputable coal merchant and has thrived for over half a century.
During this time, the business has adapted and evolved into what it is today. The fuel depot is still going strong and Welsh Dragon Stoves is thriving, providing solid fuel stoves and flue parts to trade and the public throughout South West Wales. Welsh Dragon, trading as Glamping Fires, has spent the last decade specialising in installing stoves in leisure builds – safari tents, glamping pods and cabins, working with some of Europe’s leading glamping specialists.
Having gained a valuable insight into the glamping industry, this led to an organic entry into the development and manufacture our own high quality glamping pods. Aptly named ‘The Coal Bunker’ to remind us of our heritage and celebrates how far our business has come.

Every space we create considers your every need, utilising every inch to its full potential. We can connect your space to electrics and water or you can stay completely off grid for an authentic, rural glamping experience. Furthermore, with our newly installed manufacturing space, we have the capacity to complete and deliver multiple pods for your glamping site.
