Starting up is a mad panic to get the site open and this is an epic journey in itself.
What is Launch all about?
This stage in the cycle is something already well documented by The Glamping Show: you have to go through the discovery and exploration stage to uncover your vision; you have to draw up business plans; apply for planning permission and work out the finances and what you’re investing in.
You have a whole raft of decisions to make from big things like what structures to put on your site, how to deal with sanitation and waste, what kind of experience you want to give your visitor right down to the details like where do visitors park their cars and which way does accommodation open up to get the best sunset views. But this is only the beginning …
What’s your top priority? Be confident about what you’re doing. Get clear on what’s unique about your site because launch is only the beginning. From that point on you’re trying to run the business and keep your cool with a live visitor audience.
