Bob is the Sites Director at The Camping and Caravanning Club and is responsible for the acquisition, development and operation of its UK Club Sites and Camping in the Forest networks.
Established in 1901, The Camping and Caravanning Club is the world’s oldest and largest Club for all forms of camping. The Club’s aim is to help people enjoy the family togetherness and simple pleasures that camping can bring, and it is proud to have almost 750,000 members who agree!
The Club has over 100 campsites set in some of the most picturesque locations, nearby to leading tourist destinations, across the UK. In 2015, its own glamping product ‘Ready Camp’ was launched, which now boasts 250 units across 45 locations nationwide.
Bob also works actively within the wider tourism and visitor economy, and is currently leading an industry-wide research group to assess the economic impact of the holiday park sector in the UK.
